Siena's grand cathedral, built in the 1200’s, houses treasured artworks and marvelous marble floors. The Piazza del Campo, the main town square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also home to the Palio, perhaps the most infamous horserace in the world.
San Gimignano, known as the "city of beautiful towers," had 72 towers during its peak historical period. Now 14 towers remain rising above Tuscany's Elsa Valley. This beautiful hill town looks look like a medieval dreamscape.
You will enjoy guided tours of both Siena and San Gimignano with your STEPS in Tuscany guide. You are free to wander and enjoy lunch on your own.
We will return to Florence in the early evening and the night is yours!

Enjoy a quick espresso and walk at your leisure before we are off to the Panzanello winery. We are visiting Panzanello for a wine tour, tasting and a delicious farewell lunch made with traditional Tuscan fare.
