Day 1: Arrive in Uganda

You will be picked up by our guide and transferred to a hotel in Kampala for the night

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja

We will start off our day with a walking tour of the city of Kampala. This immersive experience gets you up-close and personal with the city’s sights and sounds. We will walk on the main street where Idi Amin famously evicted Asians out of their shops, then slope down town to heart of the city and visit sites like the Taxi Park and Owino market. Our tour will end in time for lunch. Later that evening, we will attend a cultural concert at the Ndere Arts Centre and discover many of the traditions that constitute Uganda’s tribes and culture.

Day 3 – 5: Volunteer program

We will head to Jinja, a town two hours east of Kampala on the northern shores of Lake Victoria and also home to the source of the Nile. These next two days will be spent volunteering with our partner programs in the education sector. We will be involved in renovation works of classrooms and also setting up extra-curricular activities for the local kids.

Day 6: Safari

Set off early the next day, 5 hours North of Kampala to Murchison Falls national park for your Safari adventure and return in time for lunch. After lunch, embark on a game drive to explore the various African wildlife found in the park.

Day 7: Safari

Get up before sunrise and take a shot at another game driving experience. Early morning game drives offer the best time to encounter wildlife active in the wild. In the afternoon, take a boat tour on the Nile and get up-close to countless schools of hippos and crocodiles.

Day 8: Return home

After this magnificent experience head back south towards Kampala. Make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a private ranch working to preserve and restore the Rhino population in Uganda. It’s a great place to learn about the importance and benefits of conservation. You will go Rhino tracking and after that head back to Kampala for your evening flight ouT of the country. (B)
