It is the oldest burial ground during the old kingdom for nobles surrounded by the oldest complete stone building complex for non-royal burials, the famous Step pyramid of king Djoser with its 6 rectangular bases. It is considered the world’s first pyramids ever. The second stop will be at the ancient city of Memphis; which was an important administrative and military, trade, religious, and commercial center. The ruins of ancient Memphis today offer fragmented evidence of its Glory past.
