3 Days Gorilla tracking & Batwa Cultural Experience

Gorilla tracking is probably your dream safari. This 3 Days Gorilla Safari takes you into the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to track the mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. The “impenetrable forest” protects nearly more than half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world, and it is one of the best places to go gorilla trekking in Africa. In addition to seeing the mountain gorillas in Uganda, clients can engage in other adventure activities that include nature walks, forest walks, bird watching and local community tours. This is one of the most Popular Safaris to Uganda and despite its expensive Gorilla Permit, Uganda is till cheaper than Rwanda which offers the Same Permit x2 Uganda's Price. Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer To Bwindi
Early morning after breakfast at 7.00 am the driver will pick you from the guesthouse and then leave for the South West of Uganda.
The first part takes us through central Uganda. The Driver will make a first Stop to Uganda Equator, Here You will see Many experiments to Prove that you are in Both hemispheres, You will be able to balance the egg at the Zero Degrees point.

You will then Drive and have Lunch in Mbarara at the famous Buffalo Restaurant and from here you will continue the journey through Kabale District passing villages, cultivated farms, hills before you reach in Rushaga Bwindi at almost 5pm in the Evening. Check in at Lodge, dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge/Camp

Day 2 : Gorilla Tracking and Batwa Cultural Experiences

The day of Gorilla tracking. At 7:45 am You will be at the starting point of Bwindi Impenetrable NP for pre-briefing and at 8:30 You will start the trek, after finding the gorillas You will spend with them maximum 1 hour. All visitors are expected back to the starting point by 7:00 P:M. The walks can take 3-9 hours depending on where you find the gorillas. It is a real hiking and being physically fit is recommended.

Take note that no Trails, All trails are natural and dressing in light clothes that covers your entire body is highly recommended, and hand gloves are so important.

After you back, You will then have hot Lunch if you are back by 2pm otherwise if you delay due to Gorillas being Far, You will only eat Packed Lunch and you come back to attend evening activities.

You will visit the Batwa Community who will welcome you with amazing Songs and Dances, they will show you their culture and how they lived in the Bush with Gorillas, their current lifestyles and hunting ways. It will be a Parked Evening you will never Forget.

You will Then transfer/walk back to the Lodge for Dinner and Retire.

Day 3 : Transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala

After breakfast, the last part of the journey will bring us back to Kampala. We will stop in Mbarara for Lunch and then continue, after Masaka town we will stop at the Equator for Tea/Coffee break and buying souvenirs.

We will bring you back to Hotel of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe for overnight. If you are continuing your journey somewhere else or back home, we will bring you to the airport for check in after refreshing from our guesthouse.
