(PD02) Darien National Park (3 days/2 nights)

For those who want to explore Darien National Park, we have designed this moderate-level-difficulty but quite adventurous itinerary which includes a drive to where the Pan-American Highway ends. Take a dugout canoe upstream along river; ride a 4x4 vehicle and stop when there are no more paths, then hike in the jungle to where you’ll stay overnight.

During the trip and if we are lucky, we will observe endangered bird-species and see lots of flora and fauna of the Darien region. We will also be able to spend time with the indigenous inhabitants and appreciate their art and paintings as well as learning about their culture and daily life.

The package includes: 3 meals, transportation, lodging, drinking water and a contribution to the Indian village. Remember to bring your identification, light clothing, hat, walking shoes, sun-block, insect repellent, flash light and plastic bags to protect your luggage.
