The Festival at a Glance

Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) is the flagship event for the leading events management and production company espAfrika, which has staged and produced several world-renowned events.

Affectionately referred to as “Africa’s Grandest Gathering” the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, is the largest music event in sub-Saharan Africa. The Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF) is an annual event, and it’s famous for delivering a star-studded line up. This proudly South African produced event is hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) each year.

The festival annually boasts five stages and over 40 artists. The programming - unique to the CTIJF - is made up of a 50/50 split between South African artists and international artists respectively. The Festival hosts in excess of 37 000 music lovers over the duration of the festival.

 Day 1                                       Arrival Cape Town

 Leave your busy life and embark on a journey to one of the world’s most beautiful city of Cape Town. On your arrival at the airport, you will be met by Our representative who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon you are on leisure, you can either go to the V&A Waterfront or Canalwalk (own account) and you will be collected to the Cape Town International Convention Centre for the 1st day of Cape Town Jazz. 

 Overnight: Hotel on St Georges or Similar

Day 2                                   Cape Town 

After breakfast, this day is at leisure you can either take the sightseeing bus to Table Mountain and have fascinating panoramic views of Cape Town or check out some interesting attractions around the cape or even go to The Canal Walk Mall for some shopping, go for your City tour bus highlights the Cape Town City with its all interesting amenities. this afternoon you will be collected to the Cape Town International Convention Centre for the 2nd day of Cape Town Jazz

 Overnight: Hotel on St Georges or Similar

 Day 3                                   Cape Town – Robben Island

 Enjoy your breakfast at your Hotel; once you have enjoyed your breakfast. You will be collected at 10:00 for a Robben island tour which departs at 11:00. Here you will have a tour to experience the Indigenous African leaders, Muslim leaders from the East Indies, Dutch and British soldiers and civilians, women, and anti apartheid activists, including South Africa's first democratic President, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela and the founding leader of the Pan Africanist Congress, Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe, were all imprisoned on the Island. After the return of the tour you will then go to experience the local flavour at Mzolis Place for a scrumptious Lunch then back to your hotel and then have some dinner (on your account).

This Morning after breakfast, Check out of the hotel and your day is at leisure, your transfer will collect you and transfer you to the airport
