This is your easiest way to get out on the water. This is an interresting one hour outing that runs around Porpoise Bay and get teh water view of all the highlights. Views and perspectives change and give you a sense of the order of the area. Originally water transport was the only way of gettting around here.
Depart from the municipal dock on Anchor Rd. Follow one shoreline and then cross Sechelt Inlet to return on the other. You tour as far as the Sandy Hook neighbourhood on one side and the wilderness area past Sanke Bay on the other. You'll circle around Poise Island, a spot sacred to the Shishalh Nation.
