Day 1: New York - 1000 Islands (from 3/26) or Howe Cavern (Nov-Apr) (504 miles)

Departing from New York, we head for the 1000 Islands, where we will have an opportunity to take in a leisure boat cruise along the river. Overnight in upstate New York, night view of the Niagara Falls is not offered. 
During winter months (Nov-Apr), the tour will take us to Howe Caverns in Upstate New York.

Howe Caverns : Available for departures from Nov thru Mar. Six million years in the making, New York's Howe Caverns highlight the eerie beauty of underwater erosion. Through limestone corridors, cavernous galleries, and under massive boulders to a subterranean riverbed carved over countless millennial.
Thousand Islands
Available for departures from Apr thru Nov. The Thousand Islands is an archipelago at the Canada-U.S. border from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles. The U.S. islands are in the state of New York and the Canadian islands are in Ontario. The smaller islands only have single residences.

This morning, we’ll continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls, heading to the IMAX Theatre for a thrilling movie experience in which you’ll witness the sights and sounds of the Falls. Afterwards, We are going to the Power Vista, which is located 4½ miles downstream from Niagara Falls, set amidst the spectacular scenery of the Niagara River Gorge.

Morning, we go to the Old Fort Niagara & Niagara Power. Later, we'll continue our sightseeing to the IMAX Theatre for a thrilling movie experience in which you’ll witness the sights and sounds of the Falls.

The Power Vista features more than 50 interactive exhibits and an observation deck. Located just 4 miles downstream from the Falls, it is set amidst the spectacular scenery of the Niagara River Gorge.
IMAX Theatre
Home of one of the most spectacular IMAX adventure of all time. In 45mins you’ll witness the sights and sounds of the Falls through the perspective of the daredevils who have tried to conquer it.
Maid of the Mist
Available for departures from Apr thru Nov. Nothing gets you closer to the American and Horseshoe Falls as the world renowned Maid of the Mist boat tours. It's a half hour-long thrill of a lifetime in which you’ll sail through the mist right up to the base of the Falls.
Old Fort Niagara
Standing on a bluff above Lake Ontario not far from Niagara Falls, Old Fort Niagara has dominated the entrance to the Niagara River since 1726. The colorful history of the site began even earlier, and continues to the present day.
